The idea
SimpleUsability.org has been set up primarily to support ambitious eco-friendly, fair trade or sustainable businesses improve their online business. We intend to offer advice on issues of website usability, search engine visibility and visitor traffic analysis, drawing on our extensive experiences of working in this field.
We are great believers in, and wish to support, eco-friendly causes that value the environment we live in. We also appreciate that smaller companies promoting such causes often lack the knowledge, time, money, and other resources to invest in the services and assistance they need to progress. We therefore want to give these companies a helping hand in developing their business and building their audience.
How we can help you
We hope to be a valuable source of support, offering our specialist expertise from over 12 years experience of working with websites. We know what it takes to make a website succeed and we'd like to share it with you. We can help you to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of your website and improve the user friendliness of the site for your users. This in turn will raise your reputation and increase your word of mouth marketing potential while also gaining you more customers. We can also advise you on how to increase your website's visibility on search engines such as Google, helping more people find you. Finally, we will help you install and use customer traffic and e-business analytics. All in all, this will have a huge impact on your business success.
Who can apply?
If you have a website that offers an environmentally friendly, socially responsible or sustainable product or service then we would like to help you. As our idea is to support small scale businesses who can't necessarily afford such consultancy normally, we ask that your annual turnover is below £0.5 million and that you trade solely in the UK. What you will get from it
Three months of primarily web based mentoring with free access to specialist advice and consultancy relating to your website, advice that is objective and knowledgeable. In turn we hope to educate and enthuse you into improving your online presence, and carrying your ideas, products and services forward.
